Chabad at Harvard has been the first place where I have found Jewish community and an accepting space to learn and grow. I was not raised in the tradition but that didn’t matter - Chabad showed me that every Jew is family no matter your background or level of engagement. I know I have a place to go for every shabbos where I can participate in tradition, song, delicious food and be surrounded by thoughtful conversation and kind family and friends.
