Wow. What is there not to say about this trail. It truly desert magic. You twist and turn through the desert with cactus and birds everywhere you look. Feels like a dream. Not a challenging trail by any means, but could be easy to get lost!

Nice, easy trail. There's a horned owl nesting in a cactus not too far from the trailhead.

This is the main trailhead that leads to Dixie mountain if you are wanting to hike to the peak or loop around. This trail also connects to the desert tortoise trail. There is plenty of parking at the trail head with cold running water and bathrooms.

This is a really great hike for most people. The trail is mostly flat and there is little climbing over rocks. It's a great workout. This trail is also great to run on.
