At HEB on 7th… Here Everything is NOT Better I have regularly gone to this HEB for over 8 years even before the remodel. I have recently noticed that the store is starting to significantly slip. The “organic produce” was molding. I went to cook the lamb I bought and it smelled as soon as I took it out of the package. The use or freeze date was 19 August and today is 26 August. The milk I buy is typically not stocked 40% of the time I go. I can see it through the milk shelf sitting in the back. Today was one of those days but no store associates were around to help. (I looked) I have started to drive to Whole Foods on 7th because I’d rather pay more than have to throw out food I paid for.

Another disappointing day at the HEB hot food counter. I've been coming here 3 or 4 times a week for several years, between 7:30 and 9:30am. 90% of the time, the hot food is not ready on time in the morning, no chicken, breakfast sandwiches, etc. And the sandwiches are usually at least 2 days old and soggy, if not 3 days. I haven't seen a hot quiche in about 9 months. I end up grabbing a protein bar on the healthful isle. Can't express how disappointed I am in this HEB. When the food is there, it is delicious, but it is almost never stocked.
