We attended a friend’s wedding at The Foundry by Herban Feast and had a great experience overall. The convenience of having the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one venue—complete with air conditioning—made the event seamless and comfortable, especially on a warm day. The interior was beautifully decorated with an elegant, industrial charm that really elevated the celebration. Staff service was smooth and professional throughout the evening. The only downside was the parking situation. The lot felt a bit neglected, with scattered trash and some unexpected noise—after the ceremony, we encountered a group nearby playing loud rock music, which was jarring and took away from the otherwise classy atmosphere. It’s a reminder that the surrounding environment can impact the experience. Still, The Foundry is a beautiful and functional venue, ideal for a stylish urban wedding. I had my wedding 2/2025 at Hideaway Cellars. To say I was incredibly dissatisfied is an understatement. When we first toured the venue it was beautiful and we fell in love with it, so we booked our wedding date and paid the deposit. There was a series of events that happened starting from our first meeting with the venue that was very unfortunate. There was a lot of disorganization going on including our very first meeting with the coordinator Hailey. We were only given a virtual option and she ended up forgetting it was virtual and signed on to the meeting 20 minutes late. We ended up resolving the mishap but the disorganization continued. We booked a private taste testing for the food and the wrong desserts were served, so we never actually got to try the desserts at the taste testing. Then, the week of our wedding we were informed that Hailey, the primary person that we had been working with the past 8 months was transferring and someone else was taking over. We were promised we were in good hands and our wedding would run smoothly. We were given the venue manager Emily and another person named Abril to help with the rest of the wedding. The smooth transition we were promised was far from the truth. The day of our wedding numerous things happened and we are truly so disappointed about what was supposed to be an incredible event for us. For starters, the dinner was served almost an hour late which left everyone confused and hungry. The food was also very different from our taste testing. One of the entrees was made so spicy many of our guests could not eat it. We also had paid almost $300 for macarons for dessert which never got plated or served the entire night. Mind you, the venue took no accountability for not serving the dessert until I reached out to them to ask what had happened. The venue told me they forgot to plate them and were sorry, but I am not sure how you forget to plate a dessert of 120 macarons when that is one of the key parts of a wedding. To add, the staff actually asked my wedding party to help serve the appetizers which was extremely inappropriate. To top it off, the Hideaway Cellars staff accused my wedding guests of doing drugs at our wedding. This was so incredibly rude and disgusting. They ended up talking to my mom right before her speech and threatened to close down the remainder of the wedding so she was extremely frazzled and disappointed right before her speech. We talked to each and every wedding guest at the supposed table the Hideaway Cellar’s staff suspected drugs and they were very taken aback with the alleged accusations. When I asked the venue if they knew anything that would help point out who they saw with alleged drugs (like a hair color, outfit color, or hair color), they said they did not know. I am not sure how you can accuse someone of doing drugs and give 0 information about the person. It took me weeks and weeks to hear back from Emily and Amy to discuss the numerous issues. Emily had also sent an email that stated we were refunded partial money back which we never received. It took me talking to the owner Tatiana and Ryan who was the service director to come to a solution, and this took over 6 weeks of emails with the other staff. I ended up getting a partial refund, and they said they talked to their staff who all denied accusing me and my wedding guests of doing drugs. Ryan informed me that they have no idea where the accusations came from after meeting with every staff member that worked at our wedding. It was such a rude and disrespectful accusation that even their own staff members did not admit to saying. This is a very serious accusation that really changed my entire memory of my wedding day. I 100% regret going with Hideaway Cellars for my wedding and I am left with so many sour memories of my special day. Not to mention we paid over $30,000 to Hideaway Cellars to have so many issues happened. I am still truly so disappointed with everything that went wrong. I do not recommend Hideaway Cellars at all for any event, but especially a wedding.

My husband and I got married here in September 2021. We selected The Foundry because of the space it provided people to explore throughout the evening. There was one room for cocktail hour, two rooms for getting ready (for each bridal party), and a gorgeous white room that we used for a photo booth. We did the ceremony and dinner in one room, then dancing and drinks in another room where there was also seating for those who didn’t want to dance. The Foundry provided the food and drinks as well as the floral and design. We had a seamless and memorable experience here. We would highly recommend The Foundry!

The venue is newly renovated, with brighter walls and a few water features. However, Landmark was difficult to work with. They had issues with retaining staff and we ended up working with 4 different coordinators during the planning of our wedding. This contributed to their poor communication. At one point we didn't hear back for two weeks only to be told that our coordinator - once again - had moved on from the company/venue. There's a large parking lot outside and we were promised that it is fairly empty on weekends but when we arrived for our Saturday wedding, it was nearly full and we had to circle around for parking. Unexpected costs were added to our BEO, our rental order was incorrect, we paid for a tealights/votives package but they were not seen at the event, they made floorplan changes on the day of without any communication about doing so, the list goes on. If we hadn't done rehearsal walkthrough at the venue the day before, we wouldn't have caught that they also set the ceremony space up with the wrong chairs and in the wrong formation. It seems no matter how many times you mention something to them, they may still execute it incorrectly. The pretty space was not worth the stress. UPDATE: The company was receptive to feedback and offered fair reimbursement for the things that were missed and overall inconvenience. While it won't change how things looked on our wedding day, I truly appreciated how serious they took my feedback and their willingness to make things right. I hope that they are able to keep the good people they have at the company.
