There are very few places in the US that embody what Highland Club offers and represents: community, education, surreal gardens, exquisite dining and libations, hospitality, positivity and a welcoming energy. (What did I forget??) I've been a member here for a little over a year and use the space mostly for co-working but enjoy the daily lunch and occasional event/gathering as well. Just when I think Chef Tim can't outdo himself, he does! And the staff is the best in Boulder. I highly recommend you explore a membership as you'll find the place and its members quite unique.

I've attended several events at Highland over the years as a guest. Mixed experiences. One quite unpleasant experience I had was taking a neighborhood walk with my elderly (veteran) father on memorial day weekend. As we walked up 9th street we decided to walk through Highland's garden and were approached by the manager and told not to walk through the garden again. This is, of course, private property. So we said we would go around next time. But such unwelcoming and unneighborly behavior is all too common in Boulder these days and reflects poorly on the community. It's not hard to find people who have had similar experiences.
