The only restaurant I have found near South Beach that offers entrees for under $10! Foods are good and fast. You order and pay at the counter, seat yourself and they call your name when your order is ready. Foods I have ordered: takoyaki (very doughy, just like the ones I had in Japan), beef rice bowl (delicious), cha siu buns (delicious, buns were fluffy, cha siu melted in my mouth), soft shell crab buns (crabs were deep fried just right), eel rice bowl (sauce was delicious, eel had too many small bones but not the restaurant’s fault), chicken with omelet rice bowl (chicken was juicy but bland, I had to add quite a bit of soy sauce, this was the only dish that was a miss but it only lacked seasoning, the cooking technique was fine). Come support this restaurant so they can stay in business while keeping their prices low

This is such a refreshing restaurant in the middle of South Beach. Reasonably priced and freshest sushi and sashimi. Service was incredibly fast. Limited outdoor seating but plenty of tables and counter seats. Will definitely come again and it will be first stop in South Beach.

This place aka Hiro's Sushi has been a long time favorite and service/ambiance was never a problem. Recently I decided to stop in, as I was in the area. I placed an order which included the garlic-teriyaki chicken wings. From the first bite I knew something was off. I almost began to doubt my taste buds knowing that Hiro's never steered me wrong. The wings looked so good but the seasoning simply wasn't there. The outside had a tasty garlic and teriyaki coating but the inside was dry... and flavorless! I took another bite to confirm my suspicions. "Eww! No seasoning!" It's almost as if the wings were cooked frozen, and then tossed in the sauce- wait Hiro's, if that what we're doing now??! A total disappointment!

Hiro’s is always solid. It’s not the highest quality sushi but it does satisfy that craving at a pretty dang good price, especially for South Beach prices. The party plates are the best deal, especially if you’re into a variety.
