Ok, if I was to just based my review on the venue it gets 4 stars. The place is nice. The atmosphere was great, the DJ and hosts were popping and kept the tunes coming. They played old school music, dancehall music, afro music, hip hop music. Now my real issue what's the food. I should really give it a one-star. Everything looks great on the plate but the flavor was not there. For the price that we paid I'm very disappointed. I had the shrimp and grits and there was barely grits and hardly any flavor. One of my friends had the French toast and that was not good at all. Next the package was supposed to be unlimited Mimosa with an appetizer and the appetizer that I was mentioned was not the appetizer that was sent out. Overall I was just not satisfied with the food service. If you want a place to go for a vibe I would totally recommend the spot but if you're looking for a place for good food, not my first choice at all. Unless you get the chicken and waffles, that was the only thing that I actually tastes good and the fries.

HK Hall was where Air-Otic took place. Beautifully spacious, large venue, well lit and good security presence. Audio and light engineer was definitely on point this evening. The performance was captivating, shocking, Beautiful and so engaging all at once... they were so incredibly talented, it was a beautiful time. Be prepared to pay for mandatory coat check and bathroom attendee fees on top of everything else. When they say doors open at 7, they mean it... so dress warm. Drink tickets for the VIP packages only apply to house liquor so choose wisely or you will pay extra for the top shelf, more common labels... food was amazing 👏 and the performance was very sexy, artistic, provocative yet conservative and so wildly fun. Great for a ladies night out.. a birthday dinner... date night... loved it ❤

One of the last few larger night club style venues left in Manhattan. Conveniently located on West Side for easy access from NJ. The event promoter drives the vibe here. Security was not oppressive but was visible. The promoter here installed their own sound and lighting for the event and appeared to control security and on-premise harm reduction/ EMT presence.

Just a good time with some friends not by myself as I learn the ropes of the area and fly out, NYC has been a top travel destination over the years and I'm proud to cross this off my bucket list. It's an experience I will certainly take to the grave and I hope you do also. There's clearly more to see here but I will end the review here and make one more statement. There is no place like home and another thing about stage 48 is food. Not kosher, not halal, nothing is better than what we're being served in the kitchen is like grilled meat at the park front. Glad to take this experience with me as I continue my journey back home.
