Fun and entertaining for everyone! They have parking available for $9 a day in the weekends and $20 during the week. The best time to take the kids is during the day. They have great staff that help the kids get up if they fall that is if they need help. Great place for a date during the evening is mostly older people. They play great music. I would recommend to buy tickets on line to avoid the long line and also the sold out hours. It was a great experience over all.

A small skating rink in the very center of the city. Overall, everything is fine, but underground parking is terribly expensive.

Looking for a unique outing? Try an evening ice skating in downtown. For $20 you get an hour of skating (skate rental included). Fun DJ music entices skaters to giggle out their best dance moves. There is a concession stand that sells what you expect (coffee, hot cocoa, soup, candy, etc.). The available restrooms are the Pershing Square portable poddies which I highly advise to avoid if possible. There is ample underground parking ($20 weekday max). Entrance fee to the ice rink is strictly bought with credit card. It truly is an L.A. thing when you can skate under the lights of the towering downtown buildings.

We wanted to go ice skating for the holidays, he’s a regular from New York (owns his own skates) and I just loved the idea of Christmas time skating! Pershing square is about a 100ft by 50ft rectangular sized rink with about 200-250+ people during the hour long time slot that is available for purchase. We saw a few children (under age 7) out on the ice that had collisions with adults. It is a very cute idea, absolutely instagram and social media worthy but probably not a good fit for those who actually want to skate. Towards the end of the hour the ice gets pretty mushy and choppy due to the sheer amount of people. We had a great time but want to write the review so that folks have a genuine idea of what the experience will be like!

Came here on Saturday, December 16th, and a very rude employee wouldn’t allow me up the stairs to supervise my daughter whom I paid to ice skate. I told him there’s no way I’m allowing my daughter out of my sight & then he said he’d have to charge me a ticket to walk up the ramp. I spoke to the supervisor that night & she seemed helped explain it was for “fire marshal” reasons they needed to account for the people up on the stage. I told her that I didn’t feel I should be charged to watch my daughter skate so she assured me it would not appear on my credit card but then it did! I saw a lot of other parents watching their children & they didn’t seem to get harassed for walking up the stairs like I did so just depends on the employee checking you in. I gave two stars for the nice music and ice skating rink. The rude employee ruined my entrance experience but nonetheless it was a nice experience for my daughter.
