I visited LA for a couple of days and booked Hollywood City Tours last minute. They were so friendly and accommodating, and I loved that they had availability when most tours were sold out. While we waited for our bus to load, a very kind staff member brought out an umbrella to give us some shade as they cleaned the bus. Sammy, our driver, was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. The whole team was warm and welcoming, which made the tour feel extra special. Brilliant experience - the entertaining and super knowledgeable driver was fantastic. Loved hearing about the homes of celebrities and where famous movies such Pretty woman’s iconic scenes were filmed. Great to get off for a photo stop at the Beverley hills sign too! Highly recommend!

We were pretty excited about this tour for months. We parked nearby at 1410 Ivar avenue Los Angeles California 90028 which is a parking garage for $15 all day. It was only about a one block walk. We noticed it was gated and chained when we got there. We sat on the bench outside and at about 3 minutes until our tour started we called them and asked them where they were. They said that location have been closed down and they were a few minutes down the street. They gave us the address and it was about a 4-minute walk. They waited for us. We were in a covered mini bus where the windows had been taken out. We are very excited to see some homes of the stars. We went up and down the mountain and I would say maybe 6 or 7 Stars homes were called out. And even those that were pointed out were mostly behind Gates or bushes. We couldn't see much. We were pointed toward places where there were a swath of stars homes but didn't have very many called out in particular. Apparently the stars are coming against the tour bus operators and have posted many signs that they are not allowed to stop on the roads anymore or go to slowly and the police are in full force. Our tour operator got 3 $500 tickets in the last month. Towards the end we went down Rodeo Drive and Beverly Drive. We also had a 10-minute stop near the welcome to Beverly Hills sign. I don't know if this is typical and how these tours go since I've never been on one. But given the amount of stars homes that we saw, or should I say didn't see, we were pretty disappointed. We were told many times by the tour operator that we could come up here with our own car if we had one and stop as much as we wanted and take as many photos as we wanted since we wouldn't be in a tour bus. But that is not really the experience I paid for.

Very easy to book online. Easy parking and easy to find. Sammy was great, very friendly and funny. Told lots of history and unknown things about the places we saw. Was afraid 7 hours would be too long, but it went by so fast. My daughters wanted to stay. Took my 9 year old and she loved it!!

Alana was our guide for the Grand LA Tour. This was the tour that left out at 10am and dropped us back off around 5. We were originally booked for the 11am tour but they let us on the 10am tour since we had arrived early, this was amazing customer service to us. We booked our tour through Groupon, which was an easy process, we just gave them our name at check in. There are also restrooms at the check in for the tour, and along the way at the stops. It is a great tour to be able to see all the sites in one day. We were dropped off at the Hollywood star walk/Chinese Theatre, Griffith Observatory, Rodeo Drive, Farmers Market and Santa Monica Pier. All of these were stops that were around 45 minutes to 1 hour each, which is plenty of time to just wander around and get some photos and lunch. Alana was a great tour guide, she is super friendly and made sure that we were all having a great time.
