I was all excited I found this beautiful coral beaded necklace for my family’s themed reunion. It was on a jewelry stand with other necklaces without price tags. The lady paying in front of me was buying a scarf without a price tag. They gave it to her for $15. They wouldn’t ring me up & sell the necklace to me because it had no price tag. I think it’s discrimination. Just because I didn’t look as old as the other lady, they treat me with disrespect. I look young for my age. I am a 55yr old woman with 2 lung diseases & wear a mask. And they just ruined my day. I’ve been to their other locations & they priced things for me if it was missing a price tag. I will NOT be shopping here anymore.

I’ve always enjoyed both donating and shopping here over the years. Donations are accepted with true gratitude, and the employees have always been kind and hardworking. It’s my favorite place to look for books, and I often find truly beautiful shoes and clothes. The other night I went out to the opera with a last minute ticket. I wore these olive suede heels from Housing Works. Beautiful and timeless pieces can be found here, and much better quality than fast fashion.

Earlier I came into the store to buy a few different blouses, shirts, dresses,and skirts, so that I can re-design them over because I like sewing. Little did I realize that it was so expensive in this establishment. I won’t be coming back. This is suppose to be a thrift store, and the clothes are suppose to be cheap so I thought. These clothes are not brand new, so why are you selling these clothes at expensive prices as if this were Macys and or an expensive store??
