Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, The Hudson. Tucked away on the corner of West Marginal and Hudson Street, this little gem should definitely be on your monthly restaurant list. Great food, drinks, beer, and service. I’ve tried most of the menu. The food is well thought out and executed. A few of my go to dishes: The Country fried steak is the best in Seattle. I’m a southerner. Country fried steak is a big deal where I’m from. This one is the best I’ve ever had. The brisket omelette is fantastic. Bring your appetite though. Hearty! The shrimp po’boy and western club are big time crowd pleasers. Whether you’re craving breakfast or lunch, they’ve got you covered. The staff are lighthearted and friendly. They’re always happy to walk you through the menu. They’re funny, yet focused on providing you with excellent service. Talk to Mel about the line of hot sauces she makes. They’re amazing. Great food. Everything was delicious! We had the Chef's Omelet and Tuna Melt. Fries were great! Service and time for meal was excellent. The only problem was the cost of the extra sausage patty, cup of coffee, and cup of tea sent the prices super high. $71 post 20% tip for breakfast is the only reason this is a 4 star. Great place otherwise 👌

My experience here was awful I ordered the chicken fried steak and it was completely inedible the crust was burnt and kept falling of the "steak" which was basically rubber and smelled funny. I ordered my eggs over medium but they send them out broken without the yolk intact so i send it back hoping they could get the whole thing right on the second time but NOPE it was worse then the first steak the sent out and the eggs were broken AGAIN.

very cute atmosphere and good food - but quite expensive for what it is. i had the huevos rancheros. it was delish and i know eggs are expensive, but not a $20 plate. $12-15 felt more fair. coffee was good (cafe umbria) and server was lovely! menu is smaller on weekends than during the week, which also make me feel like value for the selection was less appealing.
