We couldn’t be happier with our pup. But I’m rating the experience we had 5 stars because the staff was so friendly and kind and patient with all of our first pup parent questions. They made us feel confident in our abilities to be good dog parents. Even after the adoption I’ve been able to easily communicate with the vets regarding our pups spaying incision and hematoma. I truly recommend the love train for anyone trying to get a puppy and raise it as their own. It’s worth getting there early!

Very kind and compassionate staff. All of the animals there are very well loved. They helped us bring home our new cats and gave us plenty of information to help them become acclimated to their new home. Everyone was very willing to answer our questions and share advice about caring for animals. We are very grateful that we came to this shelter for these lovely girls.

I had never been to the HVHS before yesterday- other than to drop off towels and blankets. We lost a beloved kitty a few weeks ago and just felt called to come and find a kitten that needed a loving home. I found her and could not have been more pleased with the experience. Everyone , and I mean EVERYONE was so helpful and pleasant and put me at ease. I left with a precious addition to our family- thanks to the super staff. So many needy animals. Want to make a difference ? Go visit!

We have been fans of the Huron Valley Humane society for many years. Our kids (now 18) attended and loved their many programs. We have adopted two dogs and two cats and they have all been well taken care of, given shots, paperwork, love and care from the wonderful staff there. Our family is happy and playful and so lucky to have been blessed to find these wonderful additions to our family.

I couldn't be more delighted with the care my pets have received at Huron Valley Humane Society! A year ago, they neutered my male cat, and just yesterday, they spayed my female kitten, and both experiences were outstanding. Each time, my cats came home clean, calm, and clearly well cared for. it's obvious that the staff here truly love what they do and treat each animal with kindness and professionalism. The surgical results and aftercare instructions gave me peace of mind. The front desk staff were also incredibly kind and welcoming during both visits. When people at the front are that compassionate and helpful, it speaks volumes about the leadership and the team behind the scenes- whether it's the veterinarians, office manager, or the entire support staff. Thank you, Huron Valley Humane Society, for the incredible work you do. I'm so grateful for your service to the community and for the way you care for our furry family members!
