Ice House is a friendly bar with good food and prices. The regular patrons there made me feel welcome as did the bartenders. One bartender, Stevie, was very friendly and made her special old fashioned for me and it was very good. The manager, Nick, talked with me and made me feel welcome. If you are in the area - or going to a baseball game at Coors Field - I recommend stopping in for a slice of pizza or their pizza bites and having a cocktail or beer. I know I’ll be back.

The bouncer/busser came to our table at 2 (outside) and started pouring our beers out that we paid for, and giving us an attitude? I've never been to a place where someone takes away drinks and pours out beers at closing. We are also in the industry so this seemed really strange. Anyways the bartenders were great besides that. Edit: we were not lingering around, we were trying to chug our beers and go and he was ripping them out of our hands.

So i want to start off we were fortunate this was the only place open that sold food at midnight when we arrived in Denver from a delayed flight. Other than that being our first place we went to in Denver beside the Airport this place was very disappointing. extremely loud inside ( i get it its a bar ) felt run down and dirty, saw they only served "snack food" for late night which was great because me and my wife wanted to be in and out with food and go back to our hotel. We ordered at the bar was given a buzzer and sat down. after 15 min i wondered if anyone was working the kitchen... i saw what looked like boxed up food in the kitchen ready to go so i thought there must being people working back there. 10 more minutes go by, no food, no buzzing and i looked back at the kitchen again and that same food boxes were there. thinking maybe they are empty and the kitchen workers weren't really working. i get to the 30 min mark of waiting for Pretzels an garlic bread, i mean cmon quick bites. i went up to the bar and said can we get our food?? Then the bartender went back and grabbed that SAME boxes of food i stared at for 15 min thinking its not ours.... Thanks for a poor first impression of Denver for us... Sorry we didn't order alcohol like everyone else there but we were just hungry after a long travel day...

My buddy, Marc, and I travelled to Denver for an Avs game back in 2022 and found this bar called the Icehouse. Funny enough, we have a buddy at our golf club that we belong to with the nickname Icehouse, so we had to stop in for a drink. We ended up staying for a few and had dinner there. We have been to Denver a few times since then and go out of our way to visit every time. Whenever people tell us they are travelling to Denver we always recommend stopping in the Icehouse as the food and drinks are awesome. The service there is second to none and we have always been treated as if we belonged (even though I am a Leafs fan :P ). Special shoutout to Stevie and Frank for an awesome time when I stopped by on Sunday night. I (we) can’t wait to come back!

Pretty fun spot! Not too busy either which makes it really easy to get a big group together. Beer wasn’t that expensive either. Food was solid for the average bar fare. Bartenders had an attitude for some reason though. At least I have the choice to not tip well!
