We couldn't sit with our Large party of 20 due to a leak from the ceiling. But, that allowed us to meet Mr. Kyon who was the most amazing host. He did everything for the two of us- Extremely accommodating & knowledgeable about the menu. My son with the party informed of Seafood/ Fish allergies yet, his food- Chicken was brought out with Salmon ; Also Brought out Fried rice when he requested white rice. Waitress was IRRITATED.; But, his Chicken was made in the back & Fried rice - (Not white rice) accompanied his Chicken. He kept his food & just gave it away- He didn't feel comfortable sending it back. The Lead waitress ; was extremely rude & another guest who never received his food but was charged & had to bring it to her attention which again irritated her. All the other staff was helpful & friendly. I thought the food would be better then the other popular Hibachi places, but disappointing; lacking flavor, Smaller portion sizes & still costly. Presentation of the food & my drink were lovely.

Server was very kind and accommodating. Lobster was dry which means overcooked. The filet mignon was good. The rice was hard and salty and visibly too oily. the sauces were tasty. The house salad was good and so was the miso. The sushi rice was hard and chewy like the one at meijers a little to heavy for my liking. Birthday 🎂 dessert soooo delicious!!! 🤤 sparklers very cool.

Food was delicious! I had ordered my filet mignon rare, but unfortunately it was cooked through even after asking 3 times to take the meat off the grill. The waiter, Kyon, made everything right with a perfectly prepared filet from the back kitchen. Kyon was one of the best servers I've had anywhere in a LONG time!!!!!

The Hitachi experience is fun and entertaining. Also depends on the chef and his personality. We had steak and shrimp combination and salmon, all were nicely seasoned with lots of butter! And the heaps of fried rice was phenomenal and tasty with enough eggs. Great place to bring guests for a fun filled dining experience. Having a coupon was useful too!

Absolute worst experience ever and I’ve been here several times over the years. The server Jayda had a trash attitude from start to finish. From subtle smart remarks, to barely being audible when announcing my cousins birthday to the restaurant. Dry and lack luster energy compared to the other 3 celebrations done by other servers just minutes before. Took forever to bring soup and salad and the soup wasn’t even warm. I can only imagine how long it sat out waiting for her to pick it up and bring to our table. She knew she was getting gratuity and behaved as if we were a total inconvenience to her night. Even the other servers were rude. A group of them were talking and I said excuse me 3x, the guy doesn’t even look at me but gets my server and just points in my direction. All I wanted was to know where the restroom was. God forbid they be so inconvenienced to answer a question from someone not at their table. To make matters worse, I’m 8 months pregnant and a MALE server nearly pushed me out of the way to get to the kitchen as I tried to make my way to the restroom. I literally had to stop short and move over to allow him the room to get by to make sure he didn’t bump my belly. I would have asked for a manager but I wasn’t hopeful whoever was there at closing time would be even remotely concerned. Terrible is such an understatement. Beyond disappointing service and experience.
