My first time to this illegal Pete's. 28 years ago, I frequented their boulder locations and was excited to have it again. Got the big fish and a chicken burrito. It was better than I remembered. There was a slight mishap with my fish burrito, but no harm no foul. It was probably better for it. I love that they mix the burritos before wrapping. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious. It makes me want to move back to Colorado.

The food is great and easy. I typically get the barbacoa burrito but I’ve also tried the steak salad. They have a kids menu which I love. And the staff is also very cool and accommodating. We ask for them to cut up the kids quesadilla into small bites for our toddler and they’re also so nice about it.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Illegal Pete’s! From the moment I walked in, everyone was warm and friendly, making me feel right at home. I ordered a burrito with rice, pinto beans, carnitas, queso, guacamole, corn salsa, savory peppers, and lettuce. Every single ingredient was fresh and flavorful, and the carnitas were especially juicy and tender. The portion size was no joke—this burrito was massive! On top of that, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The manager even came out to personally welcome me since it was my first visit, which was such a thoughtful touch. This place truly represents incredible value for the community, and I can’t wait to come back with friends. Highly recommend!

Illegal Petes has been my favorite place to eat for a while and while I normally pick up from the boulder locations, I happened to be down in this area tuesday for work and I have to say, this was the BEST illegal petes I have ever had. Everything was on point, packaging was great, staff was awesome. This is a great location.👍

I've been going to Illegal Pete's for a while now. The food at this location is a hit or miss. My problem is not the inconsistencies, but the workers are borderline racist. I am a person of color and EVERY single time I've visited this location, the workers assume I am a delivery driver, even though i'm clearly waiting in line to order. It ridiculous, prejudice and very exhausting this continues to happen. Workers stare at me for checking my order as if I am stealing food or usually plainly asked "who I am picking up for?". I also get second priority when I do place an order for pick-up. If I do not approach the counter very closely, the workers do not engage with me. Today I walked up to the counter and was asked if I was ordering food, then the worker takes a second look at me and asked if I was picking up an delivey order. I get it. I'm sure there are tons of delivery driver who do this, but I have an American accent and I was literally staring at the food. I'm done ordering at this location.
