Giving this place 2 stars simply because they’re no longer on the app which is so weird and annoying it’s been like this for maybe two or three months now. I can’t understand why’d they’d do that, they use to get a lot of customers and app orders now I see their drive thru is practically empty all the time, I’m assuming they figured they’re a high volume store so customers could pay at the window (they did the same to the one on garnet) but we want to be able to use their app deals & offers and not pay $2 for tacos when they’re 1.30 or sometimes 99¢ on the app. They have great workers there and the food is oddly better than other Jack in the Box’s but it’s definitely annoying they removed some of these locations off the app, idk how that’s even beneficial for the company. Maybe they’re understaffed and couldn’t manage the high volumes??

This location is, oddly, never shown at all on the app for ordering. They do an okay job of serving people, so I am not sure why they feel ashamed and hide. The one on the 9000 block of Clairemont Mesa is also weirdly offline. No wonder 3850 Clairemont Mesa is so busy...

I just wanted 2 tacos, a small, fry, and a small drink. The associate suggested a 3 taco meal. So I purchase it. The week before we stopped on the way to a little league tournament and paid twice the amount for 2 tacos, drink, and fries. Thank you for the suggestion.

The One and Only Me

We tend to come here weekly via the drive thru at various times (don't judge me 😄) and the employees are quick, efficient and everyone is always pleasant. I have kids that don't like certain things on their burger and the food is always made just right (which I truly appreciate). Simon is our favorite employee, he's always friendly and makes sure we get everything we need, whether it be getting enough ketchup or offering me a big bag to carry all my orders in. Thanks for the excellent customer service, see ya next week! 🤪

I tried to make an order tonight and was told cash only. Ok well I won't be coming here anymore. I'll continue my complaint with the bbb and many other consumer reporting agencies. Pathetic...you are a major corporation and there's no reason you should reject my card...and my food should be free if you don't take card. I will never come back here
