The place has a 2 for 1 brunch special where you get 2 drinks per person for the price of 1 - say less! Drinks were tasty and boozy. It is simple, quaint, affordable (especially at happy hour) April spritz are $10 which is the standard for the island of Manhattan @ Happy Hour but the vibe there seems so fresh and understated. Everyone there is so in their own world and.m seems like they can be a distant friend in another life. It sounds deep but I’m being honest. You feel comfortable even when sat near the dumpster around the corner with A/c water dripping. I have been back twice and will be back more. Glad we stumble upon this place and I hope they keep up the good service

While Jackdaw is a great bar in town, the food was just barely fine and the inattentive and rather unfriendly service left me a bit disappointed. Our group did not get drinks but I suspect that would have elevated the experience because they looked fantastic at other tables.
