Janicka is absolutely amazing! I have wanted to take beginner ballet classes for a few years but was terrified of starting as an adult. I thought that I was too old and not coordinated enough to be able to dance but Janicka has made me feel like a dancer. On the first day of class she told us that we were all dancers now, and that made me feel really special and that even if I am not amazing at ballet, I am now a dancer. Janicka has a passion for teaching adults and she is an amazing instructor to take you through your beginner ballet journey. There is a misconception that ballet is easy, but it is far from it. Janicka is tough and will work you hard, but it is so worth it. I am so happy that I decided to take the leap and sign up for the Beginner Ballet Series. If you have the urge to try but are nervous, don't be. Janicka will make you feel comfortable but will also push you and guide you into becoming a true ballerina.

Janicka makes the entire beginner ballet experience a fun and exciting way for anyone to start their journey in the world of dance. As someone who has no real dance experience and knew absolutely nothing about ballet when the class started, I was hesitant to start. I thought that I would be too inexperienced and would get left behind or that I wasn't physically ready to undertake a completely new athletic skill. That is absolutely not the case with Janicka's teaching. Her course is an accelerated curriculum specifically designed for adults who are new to ballet, and Janicka herself is fun, understanding, and pushes everyone to go beyond what they think their limits are. I am so excited to continue with Janicka's lessons and hope this review convinces you that it is well worth it.

Janicka was able to verbally communicate from day one that her dance studio was a safe space to learn and make mistakes, which as a first time dance student was exactly what I needed to hear. The first experience you have with something can either make it or break it and I can safely say, even though ballet has proven to be very challenging for me, that I am hooked and found a true joy in ballet and I 100% believe it is because I started learning from a very talented and genuine teacher. Thank you Janicka! I can't wait to continue learning from you and with you! Also her presence on Instagram makes it so easy for someone like me who is always on the go to quickly learn about new classes, stay updated etc.
