There is usually only one vendor that sells vegetables and fruit and the quality is extremely low- in fact it is evident these sellers are not the farmers that grow them- they are simply resellers from a supplier. I see how they bring tomatoes in boxes from the produce suppliers. Terrible produce. Mealy tomatoes, dried up vegetables, I could easily find better quality at any local grocery store. I paid $5 for one heirloom tomato of terrible quality. I did this two markets in a row. No more!! The rest of the vendors are okay but mostly overpriced and some are pushing a leftist world view. All in all, to me this is not really a farmers market. A true farmers market would have fresh produce harvested by farmers who stand by their fresh produce. And I am willing to pay for it. The only reason I stop by is for Stamper Cheese. Note to market attendees, stop touching the cheese!! I see so many people who walk up to the Stamper booth and start touching the cheese and asking questions. So gross! Please add real farmers and I will return.
