If you are looking for a fun night with your friends, definitely go check this place out. They have been around for quite sometime so they are definitely not a " Hideaway" anymore because a lot of people know about this best kept secret place. If you go on the weekend, be prepared for a packed house. It will be extremely crowded on the dance floor so if you like your own personal space, this is not your jam. Go on the week days instead. Also, parking is pretty bad so pay and valet park. Trust me it will make your life easier or consider Uber. Definitely go there if you love a mosh pit style dance vibe. The crowd is usually fun.

Came here based on a recommendation, and they were right, it's COOL! Definitely has a dive feel, but it's truly vintage with the decor and music the dj plays all night (70s,80s,90s). We were told to get there early, glad we did, we got a table for 5, the place gets PACKED! Our server was amazing, I don't recall her name but she's in the photo. The wings were awesome, especially the lemon pepper, as well as the potato skins! Fun night out, Definitely a must checkout if you love that 70s 80s sound and a mature crowd. Side note, they don't allow graphic tees, but you can wear plain ts and sneakers and baseball caps, weird.. but all good.

I always have a great time here, and I come a few times a month. If you’re old like me come before 9pm to get a chair and a drink before it gets crowded. Liquor drinks are a great value for the amount they give you. Bar food like the wings and potato skins are actually good. They play disco plus a few other fun ones mixed in, with a retro vibe. It’s really a great place to come socialize, dance, and drink any night of the week!

Johnnys is not what it used to be. It used to be a kitschy place to dance with 70 year olds left over from the Disco era. ALL they played was Disco, Neil Diamond, Frank Sinatra, etc. At some point, college kids deemed this cool and ill step out and say they ruined the atmosphere. In order to keep them happy, the music changed to stuff I consider weak 2000's pop music. They rotate in Disco, but the place has lost its pure old school vibe. Now its a frat party. This past weekend will be the last time I choose to go there. Due to the change in thier music in order to bring in a bunch of drunk college kids.. so sad. Its over.

So much fun! We arrived at about 9pm on a Saturday night (no line, got in right away, not too crowded). The music was a great mix of dance music from all the decades. If you're looking for current top 40, this ain't it! The diversity of the crowd mirrored the diversity of the music. Black, white, old, young all there to dance and have a great time. We didn't stay long, but by the time we left about 2 hours later, it got really crowded and the line outside was crazy long. I suggest getting there and leaving early, as I could see how this could have been an unpleasant experience if we'd gotten there later. We also ate and drank before arriving, so I can't speak to food, drink or service.
