What a rad theater. Great picture quality, awesome sound. Spacious auditorium. I bought large popcorn, large soda, and two snacks and the price was SHOCKINGLY low. So crazy. I attended a private event - you can rent out this awesome space! They have a great selection of snacks, sodas, some delicious beers, and food. Great theater. The greatest little movie theater in Tigard. Not only do they have classic movies showing from time to time, they have new releases on opening day. This sweet cinema is run by the kindest people. Its our 1st stop for our movie choices. Prices are wonderfully reasonable: tickets, snacks, food, candy, beer/wine/cider all delicious and at a price we can afford in this economy. The decor is awesome with classic movie posters and funky carpet. Classic concession stand commercials are great to watch before the reasonable trailers (not too many, thank you). If you're looking to take your kids to a movie this summer, this is a great option. They have booster seats if needed but the theater is large and plenty of comfortable seats. Joy Cinema is my favorite theater and I am so grateful to have found it 3 years ago.
