This place is fantastic! You could go every season and see wildly different plants blossoming every time and still not have seen everything. Their maps have a scavenger hunt on them which is awesome for the kids cause it makes the gardens more interactive. There are 2 different waterfalls, picnic tables, a koi pond, and a sun garden which is super cool in late spring and early summer! All of the staff is was super helpful and knowledgeable. And if it inspires your own garden they have a nursery where they sell a huge number of different types of plants. It’s kind of a hidden gem in South Raleigh cause they don’t seem like they’re open daily, but they most certainly are 9-5 weekdays, and weekends only for their seasonal events. Which is great cause you could go there mid week and spend an afternoon in the gardens basically by yourself. Highly recommend, more folk in the triangle should check this place out!
