I love racing whether it’s four wheels or two my business partner, and I decided to take some stress out and came to K1 located close to downtown. parking is gated and safe if you’ve never done this before it’s a must. It’s a great adrenaline rush and I hope your forearms are in shape. The two young ladies that worked there were somewhat helpful they spoke way to fast. It’s kind of expensive but it’s worth every dollar if you’re into speed. I recommend bringing your own helmet if you have one and a pair of gloves, the right shoes will also help. your racing against time not necessarily trying to pass everybody so remember smooth, is fast. They do serve food and alcohol and there’s plenty of space they host parties and events. A great place to have fun and do something different

The August Jr GP event was so much better than the previous 3 months events. First, we could finally sign up anytime before 6pm, wonderful...no 30 min standing wait times!!! Second, they ran the Jr GP races first and because of it we were done a full hour earlier than normal and got home at a reasonable time (school night). Third, the new manager is running the events with much more purpose and is listening the the customer inputs. I had been so disappointed with the customer service and overall experience that I was about to stop going completely. Keep in mind that we have been loyal customers and have spent thousands of dollars over more than 15 years of going to K1 in San Diego.

Went here on Friday April 11, 2025 on a field trip with Palomar college. Raced in my preliminary race, got 10th place but still had fun. Then in the second race I did a little better and got 9th place. Overall I enjoyed it because I had fun

I had an incredible time with my friends. The only downside is that it’s all electric, so they can remotely throttle you and stop the race. Gas carts are also faster. However, this place is still amazing and provides a real thrill!
