Great Sunday Lunch Experience We had a great Sunday lunch here! The food is pretty good, especially considering the price compared to other AYCE BBQ places we've tried in San Diego, like Fire Spot and Manna. They offer great deals for Saturday and Sunday lunch. There’s a nice variety of side dishes and drinks, and they even include ice cream for dessert, which is a nice touch. The staff are helpful and bring the food out really fast. Highly recommend for a weekend BBQ outing! There is a table that can have both BBQ and hot pot with +$4/person.

We came here at 4 PM on a Sunday and found plenty of parking. Last time we tried coming here, we could not find any parking spot that we left after circling a few times. We were seated right away. At this time, we only had the option to either do BBQ or Shabu shabu. One table cant have 1 bbq and 1 shabu. Our first order, we had the pork belly, brisket, wagyu rib fingers, and spicy baby octopus. The restaurant had a veggie bar, sauce bar, soups, & drinks area that is included with the AYCE. While we waited for our meat, we got some sauce, veggies, & drinks. After we devoured our first order, which were very good. We ordered the beef tongue and the wagyu steak. All I can say is, just the wagyu steak alone makes this dinner very worth it. It had the perfect marbling and it just melted in your mouth. They dont have many meat selections or bonchon selections. But the wagyu meat makes up for it. This is a definite yes on repeat visit. Just need to plan for when it’s not that busy to get good parking.

My kids took my husband and I here for a weekend lunch celebration. The restaurant was separated into hot pot section and BBQ section. They wanted BBQ so we all have to have it unless we want to split up and eat separately. It's nice they include lunch pricing on the weekend. The buffet area was clean and kept stocked. The meats we had to order from the server. Service was courteous but nobody was clearing our used plates so we had to move them ourselves. There were nice variety of veggies, noodles, and seafood options. My kids will probably want to go back to try the new menu with wagyu BBQ

Very good price for all you can eat premium waygu meats. Very simple and to the point menu. Only wish their sauces was a little better and they had one extra side like steamed egg or japchae. It's just missing one or 2 things that would make it excellent, but for the lunch price of $35 and dinner for $40 you get your value. The parking isn't too bad either compared to other spots in clairemont.

Kinda unorganized. Came in today right before they opened, couldn't get parking, there was already a line. 1105 got on their list, they didn't mention a wait time. And when they finally got folks seated on their limited tables, all of a sudden an hour to hour and a half wait. Tried to call ahead to get reservations a few days back for Mother's Day but no one picks up. But clearly you can make one coz these 2 tables have a sign on it. (There were tables reserved on the shabu-shabu side as well.) They said the reservation was for a group at 1230. So IMO they could've used this for a group the at 1105 when we were there instead of not using it the whole hour and a half. The waiting area outside is a 2 seater bench. Thanks to the flower pots we got a place to sit. Servers kinda didn't care and were a lil bit rude, mind you they just opened, there was a group done with their table and it wasn't cleaned up immediately even tho they have a long wait-list and limited tables. The same thing happened when tables around us were done, it took a while to clean, they took forever to set it up, and they didn't seat the people in a timely manner. Ice cream was out, salad/shabu-shabu sauce self serve messy and was running out of some items. Food was good, but service was awful. It was a disaster of a mothers day. Thanks Kanpai. I would highly avoid it during the weekends. Maybe services are better during the week. As for now a 1 star for me. Maybe we'll give it another shot.
