This location offers several smaller trails that can be combined into a larger loop, which is what we did. We parked on the street on one side of the park and made our way up and around, creating a full-circle route. You can customize your hike—make it short or long depending on your energy or time. We took on the bigger loop, and I’d rate it as an easy to moderate hike overall. There’s only one steep incline, which comes near the end when you’re heading from the information center back up toward the big park area - where you can play "frisbee golf". There’s also a few official parking lot, one near the Blue Lagoon and Japanese Garden, with a fee of around $8–$10. Facilities (like restrooms) are mostly located near this area, so make sure to bring water, especially if you’re hiking mid-day when it can get warm. Dogs are allowed on leash, just be aware there are limited water fountains once you’re in the middle of the loop. Beautiful views of the city throughout most of the trail

For the $7 car fee entry, you’re offered a very expansive park area with plenty of amenities and tables available. Spacious fields for recreation in the lower and upper portions of the park (w/ a couple overlook viewpoints); plenty of nature to observe as you walk/hike around. Hands down one of the best-maintained recreational parks in SoCal imo.

I’ve been coming to Kenneth Hahn Park since I was a little kid, and it’s amazing to see how much it has grown and improved over the years. The park is beautiful and well-maintained, with updated play areas for the kids and peaceful lakes and ponds where you can go fishing. It’s a great place to spend time with family or just enjoy nature. There is a small fee to enter, but they offer senior and military discounts, which is a nice bonus. Definitely one of my favorite parks in the LA area!

Love coming to this park! Lots of great areas to walk around, tons of grills and tables, and lots of places to park. I especially love the hummingbird area - you see so many different kinds of birds using the feeders. There can be a bit of a line to get in but it moves pretty quickly!
