There is only hard to find street parking unless you come at odd times, like 4 pm. It's very hard to figure out where the place actually, and with the chain link fences you have to wander around to find the trailer you're looking for. I don't think this place is open anymore. Went there at 7pm on a Saturday night and no one there Update: I received a response from the owner and I have learned that I misunderstood the venue. It is a nonprofit organization that does not necessarily have events every night. My apologies...my family and I were visiting from Chicago and we were not familiar with Austin. I am updating my review to 5 stars as I really appreciate the owner taking the time to respond and clarify. Thanks!

I was on Saturday at Kenny Dorham's Backyard enjoying an evening of live outdoor music as part of the International Grooves series. This time they had music from South America by Duo NorteSur and Hora Once. It was a great performace. Duo NorteSur plays a mixture of Latin-American, Andean, world and classical music. Hora Once plays Nuevo and Classical Tango, Latin folk music, and world music. At the end of the evening they played together and it was amazing.
