This is such a cute and cozy tea spot. It reminds me of the old school authentic tea houses we went to before tea became an insanely high end thing. They have a nice fireplace and living room style set up and have really pretty tea pots in different shapes. The set up reminds me of a cute house. The tea set up was really nice and they had a good number of veggie options to eat. Insta: @TheShahLALand

This was a truly perfect experience. From the moment we walked in, everything was fantastic. We were warmly greeted by the owner, and each part of the process was flawless. Both the food and the service exceeded all of our expectations. While this is not our first time here, this is our first time to experience the holiday version of the high tea. Each one of the items was very flavorful and fresh…nothing missed the mark. And by New York City standards, this was extremely affordable. The venue itself is so cozy and intimate, there are so many little details that make you feel like you are in a fancy London establishment. Make sure to come hungry, because you will leave full!!

The bread for all the sandwiches for everything was stale. Not sure if it was an off day or we just got left overs, bc it was a random weekday. The scone and the cauli bisque was good. Cute place and great service though.

My friend and I absolutely adored our High Tea time at Kings Carriage House. She and I were both craving a high tea moment but she is gluten free so we tried to find a place that could accommodate and KCH did! You step into this slice of peace and quiet and the tea was fantastic (we highly recommend the “Paris” tea - and thank you to Alan, our amazing server, for that rec!) We really enjoyed the scones and tea sandwiches and desserts- my friend loved the gluten free version and we were able to sit for a few hours and catch up. We also got to chat with our server Alan who is lovely and the rest of the staff who were so welcoming and we just can’t wait until our next stop in! I highly recommend adding this as a stop if you’re craving a break from the bustling crowds!

Go somewhere else. You’ll thank me. This place is old school. You can’t make reservations online, but we were able to make reservations over the phone. We came for afternoon tea, and it was a disappointing experience. The sandwiches and cakes were minuscule and didn’t taste good. At $45.95/person, you’re not getting what you pay for. You can get significantly more and better food at other tea places in the city for a comparable price. FYI, they won’t let you swap out the sandwiches, so if you’re not a salmon fan for example, you’re stuck with the salmon sandwiches. The only redeeming quality about this place is that the location is cute. However, the A/C either wasn’t on or wasn’t working the day we were there, and the heat was stifling.
