Love the people here. Don’t get me wrong, they have an amazing team and the people really care. Also an amazing work space as well. The reason I am rating my experience 3 stars is because I sent in a song to get mixed and mastered for a fee of $200. What I got was a worse mix and an okay master. I pretty much paid to have my song sent back to me in a lesser state than it was sent. I just wish they maybe offered a $100 down and then another $100 after the project is completed up to par. Really not pleased with how my tune turned out. So just be aware.

This is a complicated review to write. I took their starter class to learn to produce in Ableton, and that goal was technically achieved. But despite being the only member of the class for most of the 6 months, I still felt like it was a struggle to get my instructor to pay attention to my work instead of his own. I then signed up for their continuing education class, quickly realized it would be even more problematic remotely than the first, and dropped it. Here's the reason for my star rating. Despite REPEATED attempts to collect the refund I was promised in writing via email last June (2021), and their assurances that it would be no more than 90 days until I would receive it, I have still paid almost $2000 for a class I didn't take, and was promised the money back from more than a year ago. This is completely unacceptable from my perspective, and I hope that anyone reading this will think twice before spending their own money with this business. Edit 1/6/2023: Sadly I have still not heard regarding my refund. I am updating my review to add another deficiency in the course I received; namely, that I had multiple issues with Ableton that my instructor was not able or, frankly willing to help me try to resolve. This was because I was using a Windows installation of the program, and he was only familiar with Mac. I understand that Apple is a preferred brand in this industry, but I don't use their products for personal reasons and this felt incredibly exclusive. Edit 2/24/2024: Still no refund, still no contact. Avoid.

I went through KMG's RAD and RMP classes and that was the best decision I could have made for my career! Even in classes where you have classmates, everything is still so personal. They create the absolute best atmosphere to learn in. They don't just stop when you're done with the program either. They are determined to place you somewhere in the industry as well! I would recommend this school to anyone looking to get into audio!
