5 stars all around. Went in last week for a friend's birthday dinner and the staff was absolutely phenomenal. There were 10 of us in our party and the staff did not miss a beat. Everyone's food and drink was amazing, the staff was friendly and efficient, the vibe was top tier. The main plus point of this restaurant is that it offers charming romantic ambience in an area that's otherwise just bars. It's intimate, the service is impeccable. It almost feels like a romantic night at home. The food is okay; it's bar food, except with Filipino flavors. The flavors are good, although the dishes are a little carb heavy and oily. The cocktails are yummy, try the Not Meg.

As Filipina I am glad to see Filipino entrepreneurs and women doing business (and with filipino food and drinks their way too) all these years. It makes me proud. I also like the food, comforting the way our food should be in my opinion. We had the pork adobo and eggplant Sammy and pork lumpia-very good and tastes homemade. We also had drinks, Calamansi Kiss for me and my friend Thank You for Smoking. Not cheap but I don’t own a restaurant on Capitol Hill Seattle. I doubt they have much choice. I hope they keep going. A lot is closing all over Seattle. Support local. Salamat Knee High-we will be back.

Expensive and the food is not worth it. If you are Filipino, they give you a heads up that their food is "the owner's take on Filipino food". Their take on Filipino food was an epic fail. This is not what Filipino food taste like. There is nothing this place can offer us to come back to. Everything was a hype. They could have at least elevated the taste of their food or made it something people would want to come back to. Sadly, no live music, no good food, just pure disappointment.

Loved the atmosphere of this speakeasy. There was a gentle hum of conversation and happiness in the room. The cocktails were well crafted with bold flavors that delivered! We enjoyed the lumpia, a sammie, and a rice bowl. Everything had great flavor and arrived at the table promptly. We will be returning!
