Excellent value for money sushi bar. The chefs are skilled and the ingredients fresh. The yellowtail carpaccio was perfectly balanced. Menu has all the popular flavours people know, and plenty of drinks on the menu. Service is warm and attentive. The restaurant is clean and well decorated. Would definitely come back.

I went here for an anniversary dinner and my expectations were high…and I was still blown away! The server was very attentive and fast. I did go during the week so I can’t speak to the service on the weekends. The food was immaculate and the Toro was the best sushi I have eaten to date. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Also the prices were very decent considering the quality of ingredients.

I am half Japanese, and since moving to Arizona 6 years ago, I have been searching for a really good place to eat sushi that wasn't going to coat me an arm and a leg. A friend had heard of Kodo and wanted to try it, so we went for lunch. WOW! Kodo Sushi impressed the heck put of me! The rolls are big and are filled with a lot of fresh fish and not a lot of rice. Every roll is different than the other. They have little or no "sauce" so you can taste the fish. This is how you know it's fresh! We shared 3 rolls and each had a bowl of miso soup and it was about $53. We didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive during the lunch rush and everyone was so nice. The restaurant is very clean. I will be returning to Kodo again and again and telling all my friends to go there!

Everything was fantastic. The food was awesome and so was the service. You can get a lot of top tier sushi for a pretty reasonable price too. I’d recommend the stuffed jalapeños (so good we ordered two) the omg roll, the dynamite roll and the sexy roll. The no hi ice cream was also very refreshing.

Very nice and chill sushi place! Price to value I would say is about right and comparable with others. Except there was a 8$ (in 2025) roll that was a really good deal for how much you get. Definitely recommend this place.
