I've been going to Kosciuszko Park Pool for lap swimming for a couple of years now. The pool and facility is clean and there is (usually) plenty of room to swim my laps without overcrowding (like at Portage Park). The staff there is WONDERFUL and always welcome me with a smile. Solid 5 out of 5 stars! I will continue coming here as long as they offer lap swimming to the public. You can't beat $42 for three months of lap swimming. It's a steal, in my opinion! :-D

Did not go indoors. We were visiting Chicago, stayed nearby at an AirBnB. Went to Kos Park to watch the eclipse, Apr. 8, '24. It was great for the kids. We had places to sit, by the playground equipment, so that was great for us adults. There was lots of room for people to spread out, and kids to play.

The pool is very nice and accessible for a public indoor pool. They have a decent amount of scheduled lap swim and adult swim, and hold several classes for kids and adults. It even has a wheelchair lift making it super accessible. It is very basic however, no timer or clock for swimmers to view, and pretty bare locker rooms with constantly empty soap dispensers. All in all, a great place for affordable swimming year-round.

best staff. Clean pool and locker rooms. The water can get cold sometimes but generally it is a perfect lap temperature. The lockers are always well maintained. So much better facilities than the local gyms. Sorry they close for the summer!!

My dad used to work at this pool I was here almost every day since I was 6 to about 9 years old I loved it. I come to visit. And it's just like I remember it maybe a bit smaller lol. The echo of the kids playing and water splashing is soothing to me. The "overwhelming" small of chlorine is not overwhelming to me. The water is not frizzing cold but it's warm it's just right.
