A nice addendum to Bird Hills Nature Area. There is no parking on Huron River Drive; you have to park on Hampstead Lane or walk in. I particularly like the meadow, which is especially pretty in the early fall as the grasses start to dry out. Part of the path is very wide and well-mown, with the rest through the grasses and narrow/occasionally muddy. It's not a large nature area in itself, but is worth the time because it connects to others.
