small selection but lots at the same time. good prices too i don’t think i’ve seen any higher than 5 and that’s for the medium/heavy canvas. they take card too on 10 above. pretty sure what i bought wasn’t cotton but a poly cotton blend. i don’t mind much when the prices are good.

The owner is horribly rude and arrogant. This was my favorite store in the Fabric District until my last trip 9/22. I'm from out of state, bring my Fashion students from the school I'm a professor at. This last trip we spent 2 days shopping, the first day he recognized me, ( I'd been there a few months earlier) he was very curt with me about taking time to pick out fabris, paying with a card spending in the hundreds, my students spending humdreds, I was told by him that I was annoying and he wished me to leave on my second visit. Well I and my students dropped everything we came back to buy and left, went next door to the amazing shop Fabrics to Fabrics and spent our moneyr there. What a horrible person the owner/ salesman is at LA 99cent fabric store is. A bargain isn't worth being treated so rudly by a small horrible man!
