Never Forget
This was a very nice choice for a venue for the first ever mezcal tasting held in Los Angeles. There was plenty of room for attendees to walk around and taste all the different mezcals brought by master distillers straight from Oaxaca and other parts of Mexico. The only problem is that the event was scheduled to be from 3pm until 11pm and the 3 food vendors available were told to stop serving food to attendees at 6pm. So, many of us were left hungry 😕. And the venue security didn't allow in/out privileges to go get food and come back. With mezcal being naturally a high percentage alcoholic spirit it was crazy how we had nothing to eat between 6pm to 11pm if we so chose to stay and continue the tastings. I hope that of the venue is chosen again they allow food vendors to stay longer next time. I definitely reccomend this spot for a alcoholic tasting venue it has a cool vibe to it and has ample space. I have a video here from another attendee of the "dance of the devils" a traditional dance in Oaxaca. It showcases a good view of the venue live.

It was a nice venue. Truth, it was a little hot on the inside, the ventilation isn't really made for a crowd of over maybe fifty, though I guess if you're using it as a studio and not for an event, that's not as big of a deal. Decent location, kind of meh parking. Though, I guess after 5:30 you can park at FedEx parking across the street.

A hidden gem! Co-hosted an event here for an exclusive guest list and the venue was perfect. From beginning to end, the staff was helpful and responsive and went above and beyond to help us pull off a home-run gig. The production options were very impressive and helped us to deliver an experience that brought a huge WOW factor for our guests. Great experience! Can't wait to plan another event here!

I held an event at the LA River Studios and they went beyond what I expected in the lighting, decoration, and use of the facilities to make my event a spectacular evening. The room is set up ideally in the size, arrangements, chairs, tables, and a trailer we used as a stage. The people are friendly and very helpful in making our use of the facilities the best they could be. I highly recommend it for your next function.

Really great looking venue with lots of hidden gems if you decide to walk around. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Lends itself to a great time just be careful going from the main area to the outside as there is one step that is the steepest and if you have been parting all night you might eat more than the food served on that one step be cautious and hold on to your date while you walk down that step especially just a word of advice as it would be embarasing to have a fall for all to score. I would go back to that venue again. Thanks for the fun times L.A. River Studios!
