Used this trail to walk Lakeshore Drive between Oak Street Beach and Navy Pier. It is an easy, flat trail with very little incline. I saw people walking, running, walking dogs, and riding bikes. There were spots on the trail where people laid out towels and sat to enjoy the views and breeze off of the lake. It offers some great views of the lake and skyline, among other things. It did not seem to crowded and it was easy to navigate. No issues during my visit and would recommend using it, if you have a need.
