We’ve visited Le Bar on many occasions since we always stay at the Sofitel when we’re in Chicago. I highly recommend the service and attention, especially from the bartender Antonio—he truly makes our experience enjoyable, as does the rest of the staff There’s just one small thing I’d like to mention: at exactly 11 PM, the lights are suddenly turned on, which feels a bit abrupt—almost like being in a low-end nightclub. It kind of disrupts the great vibe everyone is enjoying. I believe a more subtle approach would be more fitting for the elegant atmosphere of Le Bar. That said, we still give 5 stars for the excellent service and the amazing drinks!

Lovely modern bar in Sofitel hotel. Bartenders are great and able to make unique cocktails. The food here is artfully prepared with a french flair and oh so good. Stop in after a long day and treat yourself.

Female Manager has a couple screws loose. Maybe more than a couple. Out of line and pathetic. The Sofitel is a 5 star hotel I believe for the Chicago area. She shouldn’t reflect the hotel but unfortunately she does because she acts like she has authority on the grounds of the hotel. Also the beautiful patio is full of cigarette buds that have accumulated over a long period of time. Maybe clean your patio. Looks like trash. I think it’s a law people should not be smoking so close to the door.
