The convention space was too small for the insane amount of people who showed up. The convention was great and the panels were amazing and so many great cosplayers and so much gorgeous artwork for sale. But everyone was crammed. The artists barely had space to display their stuff and were on top of each other. The cosplayers had little place to take photos and film cosplay shenanigans (I know we had a hard time). The panels were too easily overfilled with very limited space. Which was a shame because the panels were all top notch. You could hear a lot of people complaining that this hotel was simply too small for such a large convention. Even the karaoke room was too small. Don't mention the game room because that was so overfilled that it resembled MTA train during rush hour.

Staff was very poorly trained. Rude and didn't know how to go on approaching people. The activity rooms were small and cramped. Overall a very disorganized con. Just a quick grab cash. Disappointed and it was my first time attending.

This will be the third year in a row I'm attending this con. I definitely recommend it to any anime and manga fans in the New York and New Jersey area. Only recently has there been an increase of large-scale conventions dedicated to these Japanese mediums in this area that are worth attending. Liberty City Anime Con is one of them. It is also easily accessible through various means of public transportation. And there are plenty of parking structures in the immediate area, as well. It's also a great convention for first-timers. So if you have an interest in Japanese anime and manga, definitely check it out.
