Very pretty, lovely people, nice walking paths. Technically there's no off leash area, but the park is so large there's always some empty space to throw a stick or ball around. (There are ducks and squirrels hanging out, so be aware) Lots and lots of parking, public restrooms, lots of available seating, and the vendors are interesting.

This is a beautiful park! It's very large, nice amenities. And beautiful vistas. It's located minutes from downtown Salt Lake City. 5 stars all day long,and thank you to staff and visitors, for a job well done in its preservation and upkeep.

Best park in Salt Lake City (in my opinion). It's an old park with big trees and a nice blend of modern features and interesting history. And it's plenty big so that you can always find a picnic table somewhere. The parking does get tricky on weekends and evenings, during summer. But even at peak times, if you spend a little time driving around, you can usually find a spot before driving too long (though it may still be a good walk from where you want to end up). But it will be a "good" walk, because the park is lovely.
