12:15 pm on mother's day. My 5 year old daughter on my shoulders. Trying to walk to show her the Capital. Two homeless men got into a brawl 20 feet away from us. One of them had a hiking pole, and began beating the instigator. They both proceeded to run around the park and I left with my daughter because I didn't want her to see brutality like that. Denver PD needs to have their hands untied to properly deal with the homeless, young able bodied men who are a menace to the public. It's a disgrace and an embarrassment to the city. My daughter just asked me if the mean men were gone so we can go back and see the capital. No, they are certainly still there, so we won't be going back.

I enjoy the oasis in the city, the view of the capitol and City and county building. Feel completely un-safe due to the abundance of homeless persons, and the abundance of marijuana consuming individuals. I will continue to avoid this place until the safety concern changes.

Uhhh yeah, there are some homeless people, however there's a lot more people just chilling! It's not all bad, this historical landmark deserves some of the attention it's been lacking. It would be a shame for life to forget about the history behind this recreation of the liberty bell situated here.

Denver has an abundance of homeless people and I don't feel safe. The Mayor should do something about it.
