We love Liberty Station! We came down here this visit to walk along the water. The parks are nice with sand in place of wood chips or similar for the kids. And for the adults! The views are phenomenal 👌🏼😍 and we basically walked from the Art District and down to the Southern point by the USS Recruit. Then looped back around. It has lots of grassy areas for little ones like ours and it was clean. A couple of "criticisms" or reasons it's not my favorite would be all the dogs off leashes and a few construction areas that need to be demolished and the land revitalized to make it pretty! We will be back to walk over by Shelter Island!

Brilliant gem of a place , the local stores , eating places are great. The local green parks areas are well kept and everything looks very up market . As a tourist it’s probably not on your list but it should be . As a bonus there is part of the street that was a film location for top gun.

Liberty Station is a great place to walk around, grab dinner or a drink, I watch the awesome parrots eat all the beautiful flowers. I grabbed dinner at the Corvette diner and then walked around by the water and enjoy the sunset the birds and the friendly people. This place is huge and the only downfall is the traffic when you’re trying to leave gets pretty backed up when it’s busy. But if you know the area, you can leave a different way. Overall, though this is a really cool place, I love that market that they have, great walkability, the event spaces, the festival grounds - there’s just so much that is offered here. What a great way to use an old fort and make it something that people really enjoy spending time at.

An expansive former military base converted for business use. What a beautiful property and so well maintained and gorgeous and safe. A lovely place that you might not ever visit unless you went to a Tesla supercharger.

This place is simply amazing in all that it offers: lots of unique eateries and retail merchants under one roof at Liberty Station! I enjoyed the big juicy shrimp in the fried rice from Mama Made's Thai Cuisine. Likewise, the shrimp shumai and the chicken and beef skewer meal from Bao Bun were delicious. Both were fresh and full of flavor! After having some great food, I strolled through the station and was in awe from seeing so many unique restaurants and shops in one location. I'll definitely go back!!
