Disappointing... staffs do not know even the equipment are out of order. The swim suit dryer has been not working so long time and no one is fixing. Many people here feels similar including previous ac experiences. North Austin life time is good though... Just the problem of this branch.

Update: June 2025 the AC is still broken lol. Wild. Close the whole location down. Update: late may 2024 and it is HOT in here. The other recent reviews about an underpowered AC seem to have some legitimacy to them. Confirmed with GM the entire upstairs AC is broken and awaiting a repair. OOF. This seems to be a pattern if you go through reviews historically. See pic for completely disabled upstairs thermostat. It does not appear they have a timeline for a fix or a plan to bring in fans in the meantime. As much as I love this gym over my two years here, the quality has gone downhill and management has stopped engaging with reviews or sending out notices/emails. I’d avoid for the time being. The weird weekend hours (close at 7) are unfortunate. I don’t really get people saying the employees are rude here. A couple of them are especially nice, most are neutral. They’re gym employees just doing their jobs, if you want a friendly conversation from a gym employee, conversate with the GM or seek out a friend

The gym itself was great. Smaller in size but still a good amount of space. Gym members were always respectful and polite. My two complaints were the cardio area and lack of AC, especially during summer months. Treadmills in cardio area all faced the outside of the building while TVs were on inside of building. I really enjoy the distraction of a show while running or doing cardio. The treadmills had the capability to have cable TV on their screens, however LifeTime must have never set this up. Overall, the gym was decent. But not for the price they are charging.

Just checked out the gym thinking about joining them. Comparing between this one and the North Austin one. I kinda like the outdoor swimming pool with the shade. It feels better on nice days. The thing is this location has their own lake to hike and do some water activities like kayak and standing paddle. Thinking hard now.

Blocking local open water swim access in the quarry lake is diabolical corporate greed. Such an A-Hole move. Not worth the membership price of insane 200$ per month and 40$ per day
