Lightwalk at Tracy Aviary offers a unique and festive way to celebrate the holiday season by immersing visitors in a beautifully illuminated experience across eight acres of the aviary's natural surroundings. Unlike typical visits to an aviary, Lightwalk focuses exclusively on dazzling holiday light displays rather than live bird exhibits, creating a magical atmosphere perfect for group outings and friendly gatherings during the winter months. Highlights include a walk-thru tunnel glowing with colorful lights, an interactive maze, thousands of twinkling lights adorning trees and pathways, and a life-size gingerbread house where guests can meet Santa Claus. Attendees can enjoy seasonal beverages and treats while wandering the scenic light displays, making it an enchanting and memorable place to meet up with friends or family. The event runs nightly from late November through the end of December, providing multiple opportunities to experience the holiday spirit in a unique, outdoor setting. Special events such as Candle Night allow visitors to reflect and memorialize loved ones, adding an emotional and communal element to the celebration. This seasonal event prioritizes the wellbeing of the aviary's animals by limiting animal access to service dogs only, ensuring safety while guests enjoy the lights in a pet-friendly, outdoor environment. Lightwalk is an excellent destination for those seeking an atmospheric and joyful holiday outing that offers beautiful views, seasonal treats, and festive fun away from the traditional shopping or indoor party scenes.
