I have only seen a small piece of the park so far, and it didnt take me long to realize this park has a lot to offer. Lillie park has soccer goals, a playground, picnic shelters, walking trails, a lake, and a large parking area. The park connects to a nature preserve with paths to walk through as well. The nature preserve contains squirrels, birds including a red headed woodpecker, and chipmunks. It was great to walk through and hear nature. I recommend wearing bug spray if you pass through the nature preserve due to mosquitoes. You catch the sounds of two worlds in the preserve: the modern world of traffic and the peaceful sounds of nature. The park seems dog friendly as it has bags to pick up after dogs and people walking dogs. Some of the park trails have signs providing informational reading should you so choose to enjoy the literary material. The park looked well maintained and as another positive, it was not crowded (at least during the time I was there).

Amazing little park for people of all ages. A small playground for children to play on, soccer fields galore for some athletic activities, and incredible walking paths that lead you down and around a handful of ponds. The mild hike around Turtle Rock Pond is one of my favorite. I wish they would repair the boardwalk across the pond, but going and sitting by the water's edge is nice either way! I'd highly recommend this park for anyone looking to get out and walk, run, or bike around. Never sell yourself short on nature, there's beauty abound in the world.

This park is so peaceful and well maintained. I will say I took a picture of the map and I still got myself off trail by accident. The trail started out looking very much like a trail in my defence. Beautiful, only saw a few other people braving the cold day. A curious chipmunk checked me out while I took a rest on a tree stump. Saw lots of mushrooms. I could definitely tell that this park is maintained, you can see where the fight against honeysuckle is on along parts of the trail, looks great!!! The brush piles are the old honeysuckle and I have read other places have planted young trees after and then use the brush to build up a barrier for hungry deer. Dunno if that's happening here but either way, it's definitely getting stewardship love.

This park is like a second home. I walked my dog here for years, daily and it is a familiar and beautiful park in a very accessible spot in Ann Arbor. The trails aren’t overwhelmingly long or confusing, and the whole park is designed sort of on a loop, so it’s easy to walk, run, bike and navigate the land. My son loves this park too, we come to the play structure to climb or kick a soccer ball around the park.

Great little park to go for a walk. Some trails are dirt only, so can be muddy based on season/weather
