I came here exactly for the new menu, new chief. Because this is a restaurant providing authentic Sichuan food that is not so easy to find in downtown Seattle. My recommendation as a local Sichuan born-up: 肥肠面、豆花饭、狼牙土豆。

I wanted to like this place, but I have mixed feelings about the food and service I received. The cucumber appetizer was not authentic, it's meant to be garlic, spicy but instead it was plain and slightly sweet and the pan fried pork buns lacked flavor and the fillings were not soupy and moist. However the dumplings were good and the real saving grace was the stir fried beef noodle. I might come back to try the beef noodle soup, but given the lack of interest from the staff, I'm not sure I feel welcomed.

Great beef stew! The original flavor is a must try. The beef cube is tender and with balanced mixture with fat marble. Numb Spicy dried beef stripe is also a gem choice in the restaurant, it’s very spicy, be aware! Pan fried dumpling tastes also good, very thin dough.

They have really revamped things recently! I was here a month ago and they gave me a tour of treats. Originally this was Choco Canyon and was desert focused. The food is great and since their relaunch they’ve put in ample effort. I’ve been a loyal regular for almost 5 years and am so thankful they’re still going. This is a great place to enjoy wholesome and healthy plant based foods and treats. It’s a nice place to hang out, work or talk. Bathrooms are good.
