Little Italy at San Diego originated from the first large tuna cannery, the Pacific Tuna Canning Company, which was founded in 1911. You can see a lot of Italian restaurants, Markets, Clothing Shops, Cafes etc at Little Italy. As you know, Italy is famous for Pizza, Pasta, Sea Foods, Espresso etc. so you can enjoy those things here. I visited Little Italy for festa on Oct. 11th, 2015. I enjoyed performances, street paintings, Food Booths etc. I could see ocean and sunset with good Italian music. I bought Salame Panino(Salami + Mozzarella) & a bottle of wine at Mona Lisa Italian Foods. Salame Panino was really good with wine. You can buy fresh vegitables and fruits every Saturday, 9:00am - 1:30pm, on Date Street at Little Italy. Try to visit Little Italy. You can enjoy Italian stuffs at Little Italy.

Best place in San Diego county. The association has done a great job. Bravo... But I am worried about the new thing; the pettycabs. Very loud music, driving recklessly. I don't want this beautiful part of town turn to downtown San Diego.

Little Italy association is a disgrace. Claiming authority on public open to vendors space. They don’t respect the city ordinances.

I am reviewing the little Italy Saturday farmer's market. Considering it was my first time and I also brought my pup, my experience was good. Went around 11am there was a hefty amount of people so be advised and go earlier. I had no issues with my pup and I recommend bringing your furry friend. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies so sale. Many vendors so choose wisely bc some charge more than others. Great refreshments and ethnic food. I would go again!

The owner will call the police and falsely accuse you of things like playing music too loud. She is a disgusting person and will not apologize for her actions
