Love this farmers’ market! Our first time here. They are open every Saturday. It’s huge (I think it is), it is 4 or 5 blocks of vendors at both sides of the street. So much food and so many different options. Grab a snack, do groceries, buy some souvenirs, listen to music, and just enjoy the vibe. Prices are ok. Some things are actually a really good deal. Some others not so much. Parking is as you can expect seating here pretty much in downtown San Diego. Lots of ACE paid parking little lots around the area. The market, little Italy, DT San Diego, Midway Museum, and the coastline are all within walking distance, depending on how much you like to walk!

One of our favorite things to do in San Diego is visit the Little Italy Mercato farmers market on Saturday morning. They have 6 blocks of continuous fresh produce, breads, teas, coffee, juices, honey, cooked foods, plants, artisan goods, more. We also visit the Miso Hungry stand for their handmade onigiri (rice balls) and Seven Seas Coffee for our latte fix. This is a great way to spend your morning browsing for handmade gifts or grocery shopping for the week. Highly recommend this farmers market!

This is an excellent market! If you haven't been to a farmers market before, this would be one I would suggest you attend first. If you don't like it, you may just be weird (or farmers markets might not be your thing). There are a lot of vendors and a lot of variety. I don't know that I saw anything that was just purchased resale items, which can bring down a market. Lots of good produce fruits and veggies. Lots of food vendors selling amazing food to enjoy breakfast, lunch, snacks, desserts or cool beverages! Live musicians playing! It does tend to be warm and in the sun, so cold lemonade or some ice cream will really hit the spot! Prices are reasonable. We even purchased some used books to enjoy later in the weekend. It is clearly a well ran market and has people managing every road to help pedestrians cross the street. Have been before, will come back again!

I've visited this farmers market numerous times, and I can confidently say it's one of my favorite spots in San Diego! Every visit rekindles my love for this place. You can find fresh vegetables, tasty food, beautiful flowers, interesting crafts, listen to lovely music, and bask in the glorious sunshine and vibrant atmosphere. It's definitely worth spending a morning here. Driving on weekends can be challenging. Taking the trolley is a good alternative. Highly recommended for an enjoyable outing!

A good place to spend Saturday morning in SD. Get there early. Gets crowded pretty fast. Fresh fruits and produce should be the main focus if a farmers market not all the different food , restaurant offerings. Little Italy is full of restaurants. Bring back all the farmers. Hence the 3 stars. Otherwise a good place to be. Hard to find parking, walk through the crowds.
