The view is amazing, but its a gravel lot adjoining a natural gas processing area. Lots of fencing and strong smell of gas.

Beautiful, easy afternoon hike. Plenty of parking and hardly anyone there. Recommended if you are just starting your hiking journey or just need a chill afternoon.

This is our go to place for meteor shower watching, comet watching, and recently the Aurora! It's a quick drive from the city and then a short hike to the summit that can be done in the dark. The top has plenty of flat spots to spread out and hang out while looking at the stars. There's still light pollution from the city but it's significantly reduced.
