This establishment is incredibly discriminatory. The security and bouncers were very microaggressive, even the black security. My friend and I got singled out and pulled out of line unprovoked after having our IDs checked, and they yelled at us that we needed to leave. After asking why, what did we do, they proceeded to say, “If you don’t leave, we’re going to arrest you. This is private property and we’ve already expressed we don’t want you here. You need to leave.” I tried to ask a bouncer for the guys name and badge number, and he asked me why, I explained the situation and he says, “Well… maybe you were just too drunk to get in.” This behavior and these comments are absolutely unacceptable.

Lost Dog is a hole in the wall place, that is janky but a lot of fun with the right people. The atmosphere was enjoyable with great friends and a few drinks, but the music selection could use some improvement. While some songs are great in their entirety, others are best enjoyed in shorter segments—especially when most of the crowd only knows the chorus. A DJ would definitely enhance the experience by keeping the energy high and reading the room to create a more dynamic and engaging playlist.

After I closed out my tab of one drink, I was charged additionally $16. Small enough to almost not notice, had to cancel my credit card since the bartender swiped my card extra for tips and gratuity. Occurred on Nov. 30th evening, young female low to mid 20’s, main bar area. Unable to contact anyone from this bar to resolve the issue or get back to me. How convenient. I imagine they do this to several customers a night.
