Late night dinner, came here after clubbing. Four of us, $100, I just ordered a basket of fries, for $8. Two combo French toast combo, breakfast combo, and milk shake. My fries was good but could be more for $8. Everyone else ate all their foods. 20% surcharge, I don’t remember being told about it. Service was good, friendly staffs. we parked at the structure. One bathroom that can take eternity.

I love the vibes of the restaurant but it was highkey so weird that they put my overeasy eggs on my pancakes. Yes, I should’ve asked for it on a separate plate but I never had that problem before. Food was alright overall. I think it’s required to be passive aggressive & have an attitude to work here though.

This is our second brunch for 5-6 people. I like the vibe and we returned due to dietary restrictions. The first time, we had 6 people. 1 order was completely wrong. Today we had 5 people. 2 orders were completely wrong, and 2 others given burned bacon hard as a rock and inedible. Waiter said "well the cook didn't read." No apology, no replacements, nothing taken off check. Would have walked out except I was with family who were the decision makers. Same waiter both visits. It's him not the cook.

I love diners. They have such nostalgic Americana vibes, and the classic burger and shake is one of the truest American meals. When it comes to aesthetics this place delivers, and being open until 2am is both classic and aimed at serving the post bar crowd. I’ve really enjoyed this place over the years, but it’s really fallen off in quality. Fries were fine, nothing special. My Cuban (which was The Special) barely had anything on it, was dry, and after tax, tip, and 5% service fee I paid $22 for it. My baseline is the Chipotle burrito. It always fills and satisfies, and it’s $12. This was almost 2x Chipotle, and I struggle to even say this was half as good. Until things pick up I’d say skip this place and hit up one of the many food trucks/stands along Pine.

Great American style food with quality ingredients and careful preparation. Excellent service as well. Not cheap, but worth it.
