I recently had the opportunity to be “the bachelorette” for Alli’s show, Love Isn’t Blind. My main question going into it was “what gets posted online??” and Alli was SO reassuring that anything racy or questionable for the internets doesn’t get posted without the contestants’ consent (consent is sexy, people!!). Between this and her incredibly soothing voice, I knew I was in good hands for an experience that would be fun and a bit outside of my comfort zone. She had 4 absolutely wonderful MEN, not “boys”, for me to meet and get to know over the course of 5 rounds of different “challenges”. I had SO much fun, met so many amazing new people and I’m so glad that I took the leap to be part of the show. If you’re thinking about going, go. If you’re thinking about applying, do it. And if you’ve got an amazing friend or family member who you think should be on the show, nominate them! Come with an open mind and an open heart, and you’ll be so glad you did. Thank you, Alli, you’re THE BEST! ❤️

I was the bachelorette on Love Isn’t Blind and honestly, it was one of the most fun and ridiculous nights of my life. If you’ve never been, the concept is simple and genius: the men aren’t allowed to talk. That’s it. That’s the twist. They have to answer everything with just a yes or no, and watching them try to communicate with dramatic nods, hand signals, the splits (yes that’s right) and pure panic? Comedy gold. The whole thing felt like being in a live rom-com hosted by your funniest friend. Allison, who runs the show, is absolutely hilarious and so warm and welcoming. She somehow makes everyone feel like part of the show, whether you’re on stage or in the crowd. It’s the most supportive room full of strangers you’ll ever be in. By the end of the night, I was crying laughing, hugging people I just met, and wondering why all dating isn’t like this. It’s silly, it’s smart, it’s weirdly wholesome, and so worth going. Do it. Bring friends. Bring your mom. Just go. You’ll make a lot of friends and be a part of a community you never thought you would even know.

This was the first time I have tried a singles dating type thing. I was interested in the interactive performance element and figured that if nothing comes of it, I can still enjoy the show. The show itself was super funny and engaging. The host Alli is an absolute character. Riotously funny and genuinely disarming. The game itself was very entertaining and wholesome. I was a little nervous to go by myself as a single guy, but the general atmosphere was welcoming and inclusive. Well over half of the people were single. After the show, there was a meet and mingle at a nearby bar. I met someone and we are planning to see each other again soon. They even gave me veggies from their garden. The night could not have gone any better! Highly recommend to anyone looking to meet someone in person.
